Eco-Friendly Transport
We offer Electric Vehicle (EV) guest transfers to significantly reduce carbon emissions.
Guests are also welcome to use our bicycles to get around the hotel complex — a fun and green way to move!

Solar Power Initiatives
Our advanced solar energy grid supports:

• 100% daytime STP Grid-tie solar power (up to 18–22% daily efficiency)
• Water preheating (up to 30%) boosted to 40% before supply
• A 395kW solar plant powering the padel court, saving up to 20% energy daily
• A dedicated solar project supporting our conference and retail spaces

Refillable Guest Amenities
We’ve transitioned to 100% refillable bathroom amenities and replaced single-use plastic bottles with eco-friendly glass bottled water, reducing plastic waste across all rooms.

Wooden Key Cards
Our guest room access cards are now made from sustainable wood — a small change with a meaningful impact, reducing both plastic waste and our carbon footprint.

Tribe Hotel has partnered with Green Key; a voluntary eco-certification programme for hotels, hostels, campsites, holiday parks, small accommodations as well as conference centres, attractions and restaurants.
The Green Key certification is based on compliance with strict internationally recognised criteria in the areas of environmental management (water, energy, waste, cleaning) and sustainability education for staff, guests, and suppliers

The Green Key programme is managed by the international charity, the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), and its national member organisations.
